Sunil Chhetri is a professional soccer player from India. He currently serves as the captain of both the Indian national team and the Indian Super League team Bengaluru FC. Chhetri is widely regarded as one of the best soccer players in the history of Indian football, and he is the most-capped player and all-time top scorer for the Indian national team.
Chhetri began his professional career in 2002, signing with Mohun Bagan AC of the Indian National Football League. He has also played for clubs in the United States, Portugal, and the United Kingdom, including Major League Soccer team Sporting Kansas City and English Football League team Queens Park Rangers.
